That said, it is also a huge part of D2, and it would be wrong to change it imo. Should be up to 90 resistance instead (with no ways to reduce resistances). Overall it's not that bad because of P8 you probably toss 3-5 javs per group, but again it's too much of annoyance to me. Immunities is and always has been a terrible idea. But it's an average, in 20% cases if you fail to pierce, and you could potentially pierce 5 times with 100% pierce, you just lost 80% of your potential damage. That inconsistency is just annoying, even if 10-20% damage is not that big. In 36% of cases it will fail to pierce twice. But personally what I hate about it is the inconsistency when 20% of time you won't one-shot group of enemies because your jav simply didn't pierce even once. Losing Razortail is means about 20% less pierce (base 80% from +skill items is easy), which equates to about 10-20% damage loss depending on size of groups you are fighting. The exception to that rule is that lightning immunes and light resist mobs will not yet be at -100. And since -100 is the Cap, theres no reason to use facets to get beyond that. Add even a minimum-roll Griffon to that and any non-resistant mob is already at -100. But enigma for life, even without teleport skill I would still use it over CoH, because all other skills are extremely useful for Javazon and almost any character.ĬoH has some strong believers but I feel it's a trap. Generally, as a Java youd have an Infinity merc which puts you at -85 off the bat. Once you get to 68 FCR breakpoint the entire gameplay with enigma is sooo fluid, 99 is already tradeoff between sills, pierce and/or ias, so not everyone will go there.
